Dragon's Castle - Level Editor Version 0.5
----------------------------------------------------------

Intro
-------

Whilst the level editor version for Dragon's Castle is 0.5 you can consider this as the final version.
From here you can create levels as you wish.

Below are the default controls for the game. Note that you can change all movement and combat related
controls in the options menu by selecting "Redefine Keys":

3 - Add Top Row
4 - Add Bottom Row
5 - Add Column from the left
6 - Add Column from the right
A - Enable / Disable animation for textures
C - Change layer (currently toggles between layers 0 and 1)
D - Delete all tiles on all layers and reset current level back to default size
k - Save map under a specific name.
H - Hide/Enable information status bars
M - Bring up editor menu - From here you can do the majority of the other functions listed here.
R - Reload Level from last saved version
S - Save currently loaded map
< - Back one texture in current layer
> - Forward one texture in current layer

Mouse Button 1 - Place texture/Object at current mouse position
Mouse Button 2 - Remove texture/Object at current mouse position

The M key editor menu is the main button to remember for beginners.

The Basics
-----------

To create a level simply bring up the editor menu and select "Create New Level", and enter the name
you would like for your level. Next go to the entity layer (by either pressing "C" until the editor
reaches that layer or via changing layers in the editor menu), bring up the player start icon (via
the "<" and ">" keys and left click on the screen where you would like to place it.

Next you'll need to place blocks where you want the player to be able to walk on. For this change
to the block layer and place the blocks where you like.

After that feel free to place backgrounds as so on as you see fit.

You can change the size of the level via the "Add Top Row", "Add Bottom Row", "Add Column From The Left".
"Add Column From The Right" in the editor menu or key the hot keys (3,4,5 and 6). I would strongly
advise saving (either by pressing "S" on the keyboard or "Save Current Map" in the editor menu) when you
have the level size you like. Also note that you cannot reduce the size of a level, only enlarge it. The
exception to this is if you choose to remove all tiles and start from scratch (via either "Reset Level
Dimensions and Tiles" in the editor menu or by pressing "D" on your keyboard) which will reset a level
back to the default size.

After that place enemies (found in the entity layer) and items as you see fit. Level exits and special
events triggered by the player are also found in the entity layer.

And it's that simple to create a level. Be sure to periodically save to ensure you can backtrack if and
when you make any mistakes (via Reload Level in the editor menu or by pressing the "R" key). Everything
else you will learn quickly through playing with the editor.

All levels saved go to the "data/customMaps" folder which you'll find in the main folder of Dragon's
Castle and can be immediately tested in-game via opening Dragon's Castle and going into "User Created
Maps".
